Characteristics of poplar LVL

Poplar wood has the advantages of light weight, high strength, good elasticity, long and high fiber content, and easy processing. Therefore, the use of poplar wood is very extensive, and many in the world list it as an important industrial raw material.
1、 Plywood processing: Use large and medium diameter materials with a small head diameter of 18 centimeters or more, with a length of 2.6 meters per piece. Spin cut veneer, dry and hot press, and process into adhesive board.
2、 Particle board and fibreboard processing: use poplar shoots, branches and factory offal scraps as raw materials to break and process into particle board and fibreboard.
3、 Paper pulp processing: Using small diameter and branch wood, it can be mixed with coniferous wood.
4、 Civil building material processing: can be used for beam and wood structures, sandalwood strips, citron, ceilings, partitions, etc.
5、 Packaging material processing: Poplar wood has a straight texture, reduced expansion, medium to high impact toughness, good shock absorption performance, no odor, easy to nail, and a small grip force but not easy to crack. It is suitable for processing packaging boxes in military, food, tea, medicine, precision instruments, and other industries.
6、 Processing of match wood: Poplar wood has a low density and softness, straight texture, fine and uniform structure, light wood color, and easy wax immersion, making it an ideal raw material for making match stems.
7、 Processing of blockboard: Using logs or branches with a diameter of more than 6 centimeters, sawn into blocks, and made into sandwich panels to provide raw materials for the processing of blockboard.
8、 Processing of other materials: can be used as wooden lifting heads, wooden lifting handles, grain buckets, toothpicks, ice cream sticks, etc.
Although poplar wood has the disadvantage of loose fiber structure, LVL is made up of hot-pressed plywood, which compensates for this disadvantage. Moreover, poplar LVL amplifies the advantages of poplar itself, with higher strength and better elasticity.
